“I can’t do it.” Ditch the negativity and look at yourself again.

You are stronger than you think!

You can become the person you always wanted to be!

Weight loss, living a healthier lifestyle and getting fitter all starts in the mind. Stop looking for the next miracle pill or wrap to magically melt your fat away, and start thinking of positive changes to benefit your lifestyle.

Staying positive, focused and motivated is an integral part of success, which is why believing in yourself is the first step.

“No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch.”

The great pyramids weren’t built in a day, and the bottom layer was the toughest to complete. Your health is the same. No matter how slow you start, every bit of effort is having a positive influence. Taking the stairs. Biking to work. Saying no to an afternoon muffin. The more effort you put in, gradually the easier it will become. Nobody starts off as an expert, everyone’s journey begins with a single step.

“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” – Jim Ryan

Planning is the key to success. This journey is about you, so you need to make time for yourself. Become stronger than your excuses. There will always be work, family, housework and other commitments that seem more important, but honestly, what is more important than your own health and wellbeing?

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C.S. Lewis

It’s not too late. You can become the person you always dreamed you could become. You just need to be it. If you want to be the healthy girl at the supermarket that packs her trolley full of fruit and vegetables, then be it! If you want to be the guy who goes to the gym every day, then be it! You can be and do anything you want.

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” – Fred DeVito

Do what you can today, and strive to be better tomorrow. Push yourself to walk that extra block. Every bit of pain, every tear and every bead of sweat is making you stronger.
